I am interested in upgrading from my 2008 135i. I understand that there will only be 1000 of these available to US customers. Warning to BMW. You flaunt the 1 series M coupe in this article. I am interested but if it is one of those deals you use to confirm your arrogance by telling me "get in line" while you dangle a price tag of $80K + for an M3 you will alienate thousands of US customers. Mark my words - you will close dealerships over this misstep. I have the money and I am waiting for this vehicle. If you market it like a Big Mac and sell it as a rare museum piece - look out!

All the work that goes into painting a car amazes me. As a kid, I always remember thinking that painting a car was like painting a house. But now I see the process that goes into it. It’s pretty crazy.
